David De Gea set for Manchester United stay and could sign new deal

DAVID DE GEA could stay at Manchester United this summer, according to reports. The goalkeeper has been linked with a move to Real Madrid as Rafa Benitez prepares to sanction Iker Casillas' transfer to Porto. De Gea is yet to reveal whether he intends to join the Spanish giants after starting his career with fierce rivals Atletico.

And Italian media outlet Tuttomercatoweb claims that the shot-stopper could remain at Old Trafford for the upcoming Premier League campaign after Real apparently made an enquiry for former player and Espanyol No.1 Kiko Casilla.
De Gea has just one year remaining on his Red Devils contract and it is reckoned he could even pen a new deal as Louis van Gaal looks to assemble a squad capable of challenging Jose Mourinho's Chelsea for the title.
