Fenerbahce have confirmed the signing of Robin van Persie from Manchester United.
The Turkish outfit have taken to Twitter to welcome the Dutchman to Istanbul, following his departure from Old Trafford.
Club chairman Aziz Yildirim had said the move was 'complete' towards the end of last week, having struck an agreement with United for the transfer.
"We worked very hard, until midnight," he said. "We received five faxes, sent six faxes and finally it was finished.
"The Van Persie transfer is done and one more star has joined the Fenerbahce constellation.
